Our pasture-raised pigs are $7.75 per pound based on skinned dressed weight (head, feet, offal, and skin removed), with on-farm harvest, custom processing, sausage, and smoking included. A non-refundable deposit reserves your share, with the remaining balance due at pickup.
We raise Idaho Pasture Pigs (IPP), a hardy, docile breed well suited to life outdoors. Our pigs are raised on pasture and wooded edges and fed high-quality organic grain. We keep our herd intentionally small so each animal receives steady, hands-on care from start to finish.
We choose to harvest our pigs on the farm because we believe harvest day should be calm and quick, without the stress of transportation or unfamiliar surroundings. Raising animals well means taking responsibility for the entire process, including the hardest part. For us, this is the most respectful way to bring their lives full circle.
Each half pig is custom cut to your specifications, vacuum sealed, and frozen. Our pigs typically finish between 170 and 230 pounds dressed weight, with many around 200 pounds. A half share averages about 100 pounds dressed weight, and you can expect to bring home approximately 70 pounds of packaged pork, depending on your cutting instructions, smoking choices, and how much bone, fat, and organ meat you choose to keep.
A half pig generally requires 2–3 cubic feet of freezer space, about the size of a standard refrigerator freezer. A few weeks before harvest, you will receive a cut sheet to customize your order. If this is your first time purchasing a share, we are happy to walk through the options with you. We’ll email you when your pork is ready and arrange a convenient pickup time.
