When you place a pre-order for poultry or pork, you are reserving a share of a live animal before it is processed. A deposit allows us to plan how many animals to raise.

Deposits are paid when you place your order, and the remaining balance is due at pickup.

If you prefer, send us an email with your order request and details of your mailed check and we will confirm once it is received. Mailing a check is always welcome and helps us avoid payment processing fees.

When the birds and pigs are ready, processing takes place here on the farm with a licensed mobile processor. Harvesting animals on the farm avoids the stress of loading, transporting, and introducing them to unfamiliar surroundings.

For us, harvesting on the farm carries real weight. We raise these animals with care throughout their lives, and we believe that same care should extend through the final step. Processing is done calmly, in small batches, with attention to cleanliness and respect for the animal.

Because poultry and pork shares are reserved before processing, they are custom processed for the owner and labeled accordingly. Poultry is packaged whole, while pork is cut and wrapped to your specifications at a custom cutting facility.

We schedule on-farm pickup days for each harvest and will send pickup details with your order.

2026:

Chickens will be available fresh or frozen with corresponding pickup dates the end of July and the end of August.

Thanksgiving turkeys are available fresh the week of the holiday.

Pork shares will be ready for pick up at the end of December.

Animals raised outdoors grow at slightly different rates, which means some birds or cuts may be smaller and some larger. This is a natural part of raising animals this way. Typical weight ranges are provided for each product so you know what to expect.

When you place a pre-order, you’re reserving a share of a chicken, turkey, or pig raised here on our farm, and we coordinate processing for you. Your order is then packaged, labeled, and ready for pickup on a scheduled date.
